bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lindenwood University.
Shandi pursued her doctorate degree in counseling while
modeling for Talent Plus in St. Louis and Ford Modeling

with CBS’s The Ultimate Blackjack Tour.
Shandi got her start as an author with the award-winning
book The Furrtails -- a children’shahah book that focuses on
the importance of including those with mental challenges.
She has followed up her award-winning effort with another
children’s book, Suzanna the Banana. Additionally, Shandi
