Biography |
Sarah Buxton (born March 23, 1965 in Brentwood, California)
is an American actress.
She is primarily known for her work on the television soap
opera Sunset Beach, which aired on NBC from January 6, 1997
to December 31, 1999. Buxton was an original cast member and
remained with the show for its entire run, playing the
ever-plotting villainess Annie Douglas Richards. After the
demise of Sunset Beach, Buxton appeared on the soap opera
The Bold and the Beautiful from 2000-2001 as the less than
sane villainess Morgan DeWitt, and in 2005, she returned to
that role. In addition, she played a minor character, porn
star Crystal Galore, on the soap opera Days of Our Lives in
2004. Buxton has also appeared in several movies and guest
starred on prime time shows such as CSI: Crime Scene
Investigation, NYPD Blue and McBride.
After returning to B&B in March of 2005 and signing a year
long contract, Buxton's run ended abruptly after just one
month.
Buxton lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Shane
Brolly. The couple married on 27 November 2006. On December
20 2006, Sarah gave birth to the couple's first child, a boy
named Finn Michael Brolly. |

"discovered" her in a supermarket.
Her first air date on "The Bold and the Beautiful" (1987) as
Morgan DeWitt was Tuesday February 15, 2000, and her last
air date was Friday May 11, 2001.
In her spare time, she enjoys practising yoga.
She is American-Canadian (father from Canada and mother
Noelle from USA). She got a Canadian citizenship in 1997 and
now she has a dual citizenship (for both USA and Canada).
Originally, she was to be in "The Bold and the Beautiful"
(1987) for three years but she got written out only after 15
months, which she didn't know about until she had filmed
what was to become her final scenes.
She's been a vegetarian since she was 16 years old.
Her parents are divorced, and she has a sister and a
half-brother.
She is friends with Adrienne Frantz since many years back
and she is also friends with Susan Ward, Krissy Carlson and
Vanessa Dorman (before she left "Sunset Beach" (1997)).
Was a finalist for the recast role of Carly Corinthos on
"General Hospital" (1963), but the part eventually went to
Jennifer Bransford.
Signed a one-year contract to return to "The Bold and the
Beautiful" (1987) in early 2005; however, fan response to
her return was so negative that the producers quickly
released her from her contract, and she left the show after
only less than a month.
Won a Golden Boomerang award for Most Popular Villain for
her role as Morgan on "The Bold and the Beautiful" (1987).
Son Finn Michael Brolly was born December 18th, 2006 he
weighed in at 7 lbs, 14 oz. |
