Biography |
Rebecca Budig is an American actress and television
presenter.
Rebecca Budig was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in
Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. She graduated from the Cincinnati
School of the Performing Arts (S.C.P.A.) and later went on
to major in zoology at Miami University in Ohio. In 1993,
Budig moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting
career. While there, she began studying with acting coaches
Howard Fine and Jay Goldenberg at the Howard Fine Acting
Studio and at the Young Actors Space, respectively.
Budig is the youngest of eight children, she has five
sisters and two brothers.
On June 1, 2000, Budig married Daniel Geller, but they
divorced four months later. She then met former Bachelor
star Bob Guiney while hosting the The Bachelor repeat shows
on ABC Family. The two were married on July 3, 2004. |

Auditioned for the role of Kelsey Jefferson on "All My
Children" (1970) in 1995. She was supposed to return to
screen test for the role, but she received an offer from
"The Guiding Light" (1952) instead.
Her role of Greenlee Smythe on "All My Children" (1970) was
only supposed to last three months, but the executives
enjoyed her so much that they offered her a three year
contract.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, shopping and
knitting.
Is good friends off camera with "All My Children" (1970)
co-stars Susan Lucci, Alicia Minshew, Amelia Heinle, Eden
Riegel and Cameron Mathison. Mathison was also the
photographer at her wedding.
Her grandfather, Otto Budig, is a major stockholder in the
Procter and Gamble corporation.
Engaged to "Bachelor Bob" Bob Guiney (21 May 2004).
She attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio
Is good friends with former co-star Cameron Mathison. He was
also the photographer at her wedding to Bob Guiney. |
