Biography |
A veteran of the musical stage, Natalie Distler learned what
all young children do through song - including her phone
number, and how to spell her name! At age four, she
performed in her first musical theater production, and
landed her first starring role at age seven. This led to
many other starring roles, including a part in the staged
reading Captain Louie, with composer Steven Shwartz.
While music has always been Natalie's main passion and
priority, somewhere along the line she caught the acting
bug. Since her days of musical theater, she has gone on to
star in numerous national commercials and voice-overs. You
can currently see her starring in such television shows as
Teen Kids Eyewitness News, and playing the role of Tommy
Gavin's (Denis Leary) troubled teenage daughter, Colleen, on
the FX network's hit TV drama/comedy, Rescue Me. Natalie is
currently working on her second season of the show, which
will begin airing on the FX network this August.
As Natalie continues to captivate television audiences
on-screen, she is currently in the studio recording songs,
hoping to realize her dreams of releasing an album. Already,
she has worked with many of the music industry's top
producers including Bobby Huff (Leann Rimes), David Kahne
(Sugar Ray, Fishbone), Andy Marvel (Ben Jelen, Jessica
Simpson, Chaka Khan), Tina Shafer (Celine Dion, Donna
Summer), David Katz (Buju Banton, Elton John, Bee Gees,
Mandy Moore), and Jill Cuniff (Luscious Jackson). |
