Biography |
Mercedes Alicia McNab (born March 14, 1980) is a
Canadian-born actress perhaps best known for playing the
role of Harmony Kendall on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its
spinoff Angel. More minor TV roles include a "Boston Public"
where she posed nude for an adult magazine.
Before her television work, McNab played a Girl Scout
selling cookies in one of the better-known scenes from the
1991 film The Addams Family. She enjoyed a more prominent
role as a stuck-up summer camp resident in its 1993 sequel,
Addams Family Values.
She is the daughter of the English soccer player Bob McNab.
She posed nude for, and was on the cover of the November
2006 issue of Playboy magazine. McNab also appeared in the
January 2004 issue of FHM magazine. |

Her father Bob McNab was a member of Arsenal Football Club's
league and FA Cup winning side of 1971.
Auditioned for the role of "Buffy" on "Buffy the Vampire
Slayer" (1997) but lost out to Sarah Michelle Gellar. Like a
number of other actresses who tried out for the part
(Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia), Julie Benz (Darla) &
Elizabeth Anne Allen (Amy)), she was given another role on
the series, Harmony Kendall. The character made 15 guest
appearances on the show over 5 years and played a pivotal
role on the spinoff, "Angel" (1999).
Became a regular character and was added to the credits in
_"Angel" (1999)_ on her 12th appearance on the show.
After having returned to school from 2001 to 2003, she
rejoined the acting world full time and straight away found
herself with the cast of "Angel" (1999) in season five in
her long-running role of Harmony Kendall.
Is an only child.
