Biography |
Growing up in Nelson County, Virginia, Leslie Louise Bibb
never felt like she fit in. "I felt like the big geek in
high school," she recalls. Luckily, that changed in 1990
when she won a nationwide modeling search conducted by The
Oprah Winfrey Show. Within a matter of months Leslie signed
a contract with Elite -- the same modeling agency that
represents Cindy Crawford and Gisele Bundchen -- and she was
whisked off to modeling assignments as far away as Japan.
Several years and dozens of modeling gigs later, Leslie made
the transition into television with guest-starring roles in
series like Pacific Blue, Home Improvement, Just Shoot Me,
Early Edition, and Fired Up. Not surprisingly, Hollywood
soon came calling and “Lulu,” as she’s known to friends,
made her big-screen debut in 1997’s Private Parts, starring
Howard Stern. She has since appeared in The Skulls (2000),
See Spot Run (2001), and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of
Ricky Bobby (2006), while also enjoying recurring roles in
Popular, ER and Crossing Jordan. |
