Biography |
Kyla Cole was born November 10, 1978, in Bratislava,
Czechoslovakia, an area now belonging to the Slovak
Republic. Despite the political tension within her homeland,
Kyla recalls her childhood as being full of pleasant
memories. “During summer holiday when there was no school I
would go to my grandmother’s place,” she says. “She lived
and worked on a farm and I loved very much spending this
time with her.”
After years of living within her family’s protective
embrace, Kyla moved to Prague at the age of 19. “My modeling
career began in effect not long after,” she recalls. “I was
not yet 20 when I contacted an agent and then did my first
shoot.” Kyla eased herself into the industry with a tasteful
photo shoot for Hustler in 1999. The positive buzz from that
pictorial allowed Kyla to make an additional 59 magazine
appearances the following year. Of particular note were her
sizzling spreads in high-profile publications like Mayfair,
Club, Swank, High Society, and Penthouse, who named her
their March 2000 Pet of the Month. Ironically, Kyla didn’t
think much of that career-defining honor at the time. “I
don't consider Penthouse a big thing in my life,” she says.
“They didn't even tell me that I would be Pet of the Month.
I was just in an airport somewhere and I found the
magazine.”
Kyla capitalized on her increased profile in 2001 by
launching her own website, KylaColeSite.com. “I wanted a
site after I'd heard from several people that I should have
one,” she recalls. Since American companies wanted to charge
too much for website construction at the time, Kyla
displayed an entrepreneurial flair by creating her own
company. “The company is called PegasArt,” she explains,
“and the studio is owned by (my current partners) Adrian
Daskalov and Patrik Josifko and I. We all live in the same
town, so it's much easier to work on the site.”
Kyla also took the opportunity to branch out into film. Over
the next two years she starred in Exhibitionists (2001),
Blond & Brunettes (2001) and The Villa (2002), all of which
were helmed by renowned adult director Andrew Blake. For
Kyla it was an experience she’ll never forget. “I loved
working with him,” she gushes. “I think The Villa is the
best film he's ever made, and I'm not saying that just
because I'm in it!” Kyla clearly wasn’t alone in her
assessment as The Villa went on to garner seven nominations
at the prestigious Adult Video News Awards.
Her career now in full bloom, Kyla followed up an appearance
in Playboy in 2002 by agreeing to host Laskanie, a weekly
erotic show featured on Slovakia's top commercial television
station. The Bratislava-bred beauty stayed with the show
from August 2003 to April 2004, during which time she
continued to make dozens of mouth-watering appearances in
popular men’s magazines.
Over the next two years Kyla increased her portfolio and her
skill set as she turned her attention to opening her own
modeling agency. “I'm familiar with this business and I know
how it works and which photographers are nice and what you
need to be careful about,” she explains, “so I started this
business based on my own experiences. I'm not looking for a
lot of girls, 10 is enough, but they have to be beautiful.” |
