Biography |
Jana moved to LA in 2002 to escape the cliché of being
blonde, big-boobed, and from the OC. Then she decided using
what she has, might not be such a bad idea.
After being in bikini calendar after bikini calendar, an
Andy Perlman favorite, a Benchwarmer Girl, and doing several
stints as the Flag Girl on Monster Garage and Drive Shaft
(and still feeling unfulfilled and underpaid), Jana got a
“real” job . . . Hooters! That ended abruptly after table
three moved to table five, then table seven wanted to change
its main course. You see, Jana has a memory disorder,
dyslexia and A.D.D. Immediately after that, little
22-year-old Jana said, “Enough is enough; I’m just going to
have to find another way to make it!”
Then she did…Jana claims she can sell anything—a girl scout
for 12 years, she has the cookie sales to prove it! She sold
director Brian Howie on becoming a part of the cast of
Pieces (of ass), the off-Broadway hit making its first Los
Angeles run in fall 2003 at the Stuff magazine Theatre,
where the Daily Variety says, “She takes on the dumb blonde
issue directly.” F. Kathleen Foley of the LA Times, found
Jana “particularly poignant.” You too will be sold when you
speak to her. She has also made a splash as the popular
character Cami on the Joe Schmoe Show, which airs on Spike
TV this summer.
Though some may think she is intellectually challenged, Jana
is no dummy. She has a plan. She is developing a show that
brings the crafts and creativity of the Martha Stewart Show
together with the current events and gossip of The View, all
geared toward the MTV generation.
Jana has spent her whole life making things. This is a girl
that at the age of 6 spent $135 dollars to buy supplies to
make a wreath that she still has. She can cook, bake and do
things around the house in way that would make you want to
stay home. Jana has spent years of research on finding the
best shampoo, lip gloss and hair products and can put
together a hot outfit in 5 minutes or less . . . and even do
it for under $50 when necessary. All of this lifetime
experience has led her to this perfect moment in her life:
to become the first “Pamela Hybrid.” I don’t know about you,
but whatever she’s selling, I’m buying. No more thong bikini
motorcycle shoots for Jana; she has much bigger fish to fry. |
