Biography |
Heidi Range is
a member of English girl group the Sugababes.
Heidi started her musical career in Atomic Kitten with Liz
McClarnon and Kerry Katona and was part of the original line
up. She was featured on Atomic Kitten's demo tapes, but she
left the group in 1999 because she preferred to sing R&B.
After Siobhán Donaghy left the Sugababes in 2001, she took
part in an audition for a replacement. Mutya Buena and
Keisha Buchanan were very impressed by her singing and added
her to the line up.
Range won the 'Contribution In Music Award' at the 2006
Local Heroes Awards in Liverpool. She has confirmed that she
has been writing songs for a currently undisclosed upcoming
artist, and will be covering drivetime on a Classic Gold
station soon. Also she was the only Sugababe to enter the
list of sexiest women in the world peaking at 94. Now Range
is enjoying her success with her band mates having overall 6
#1 hits in the UK.
She has been dating MTV presenter Dave Berry for almost 5
years.
The pair appeared on Allstar Mr and Mrs on 24 May 2008, in
which they beat the other celebrity couples and won £15,000
for charity. |

Was part of the original line-up of UK girl pop sensation
Atomic Kitten, but left before the group achieved the major
success they now enjoy.
Was hypnotized twice to help with her fear of flying, once
by Paul McKenna.
Took part in the Band Aid 20 re-recording of "Do They Know
It's Christmas?". [14 November 2004]
She was one of five girls picked to sing and dance in front
of Keisha and Mutya in audition.
Joined the Sugababes in autumn 2001 after the departure of
Siobhan,ex Sugababes member.
She began singing at an early age. Her first show was when
she was three and she performed "Hey Little Hen" at the
Neptune Theatre in Liverpool, where she is from.
Was in a band with Kerry Katona and Liz McClarnon.
