Biography |
Gemma Merna (born 1984 in Cleethorpes, North East
Lincolnshire, England) is an English actress who currently
plays Carmel McQueen in British Channel 4 series Hollyoaks,
which is her first major TV role. She joined the cast in the
Summer of 2006 and won Best Comedy Performance for her role
in the 2007 British Soap Awards.
At the 2007 National Television Awards, she was nominated
for Best Female Soap Actress.
Gemma is represented by Manchester based acting agency Lime
Management.
She has previously starred in comedy Little Britain as an
extra, and was a dancer for heavy rock musician Alice Cooper
on his 2003 world tour. |
