Biography |
Ellen Page is a Canadian actress, most notable for her
award-winning roles in Pit Pony and Marion Bridge, and the
2004 TV series Regenesis. She is particularly well known in
Canada, for playing the character Treena on the hit TV show
Trailer Park Boys.
Recently Page has also landed the role of Shadowcat (Kitty
Pryde) in the forthcoming X-Men movie, X-Men: The Last Stand
and gained substantial attention for her starring role in
Hard Candy.
Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Page started her
drama training at the Neptune Theatre School and by the age
of 10 she was an accomplished child actor with an agent as
well as a number of TV appearances.
Page graduated from highschool in 2005, and next plans to
work on The Basement, based on the true story of Sylvia
Likens, opposite Catherine Keener. |
