Biography |
Elaine Hendrix is an American actress, producer, singer,
dancer, and activist. She is best known for her roles in the
1998 remake of The Parent Trap, Inspector Gadget 2, and the
2004 documentary What the Bleep Do We Know!?.
Hendrix was raised in Morristown, TN. When Elaine was 15,
she and her mother moved to Atlanta, GA, where she attended
the Northside School of Performing Arts.
Hendrix currently resides in Los Angeles with her boyfriend,
entertainment attorney Christopher J. Corabi, and their
rescued pets, dogs Tiloc and Rossmore, and cats Goodie
Cornbread and Kimbo. She is regularly involved with
humanitarian efforts, animal rights, cancer research, the
environment and children. |

Is a classically trained jazz and modern dancer. Began her
career dancing in a jazz and modern company out of Atlanta,
then worked all over the world for companies such as Nike,
Levi's, Sun Computers, Mattel, etc. Two of the national
Levi's commercials she danced in premiered during the 1996
Superbowl. She was also a part of the corresponding Levi's
print campaigns.
Rescued a stray cat named Goodie Cornbread living on some
fairgrounds while filming "Good Intentions" (2005) in
Atlanta, Georgia, October 2005. The locals had named him
Cornbread, to which Elaine added Goodie in honor of the
film.
Rescued an Australian Cattle Dog named Tiloc in 1999. Tiloc
made a cameo and received a credit as "trailer trash dog" in
the movie Wish You Were Dead (2002), the film she worked on
right after getting Tiloc.
Her character "G2" from Inspector Gadget 2 (2003) (V) was
available as four different collectible McDonald's Happy
Meal Toys.
Was a hip-hop dancer in several early rap videos for such
artists as M.C. Hammer, Whodini, Keith Sweat and Cameo.
Won the "Best Actress" award for her role as Samantha in the
movie Down the P.C.H. (2006) at the 3rd Annual Festival de
Cine de Baja (Baja Film Festival) in September 2006.
Offered the role of 'Sonya Blade' in the "Mortal Combat"
movies. Had to pass due to scheduling conflicts.
Favorite movie of all-time is "Star Wars".
Honorary Committee Member for 2008 Genesis Awards.
