Biography |
DJ Loli is a DJ from Kiev, Ukraine and one of the top female
DJ's in the world that spins cutting-edge Alternative,
Fidget, Electro, Indie, Dirty House music. Since finishing
her tour with Tommy Lee, Loli has traveled the world as a
DJ, Singer, MC and Host. Loli has also become an internet
sensation with over 500,000 hits on her MySpace. Once the
Host of OTV, STB, and M1 in Ukraine, she has interviewed
guest such as Luciano Pavarotti, Louie Vegas, and the
Chemical Brothers. Loli also hosted Sky Network’s Play to
Win and Chelsea TV in London. Loli’s US TV appearances
include an AXE Body Spray commercial and an extra role on
HBO’s Entourage. Loli has also appeared on E! Entertainment,
Fashion TV, and most recently a Current TV segment titled A
HOT DJ Named Loli which aired in the US and Europe's Sky TV
and others.
Born in Ukraine, Loli began her career in entertainment at a
young age by wining a Music TV Channel contest. At the age
of sixteen Loli moved to England where she studied
psychology and film history at Oxford Brookes University.
Loli began her DJ career at The Bridge’s nightclub under the
guidance of two resident DJ’s who taught her all about House
music. Loli worked at several nightclubs in Oxford until she
eventually moved to the London and enterer London College of
Communication to study Film Production. Now working
consistently for four years at some of London’s best
nightclubs, Loli decided to pursue a career as a Music host,
appearing on numerous UK TV shows and featured in top
magazines, newspapers, and nightclubs.
One night after noticing the stunning Los Angeles weather,
Loli decided to pack and move the next day. A few weeks
later, she received an offer for a DJ residency at Avalon
nightclub. Since then, she has toured the United States with
Tommy Lee, DJ Aero, and Many Talented Musicians. Upon
meeting Tommy Lee, he invited her to go on tour together
with him at the hottest clubs all over the US. While on
tour, Loli lived an extravagant lifestyle, but when
returning to Los Angeles, after flying on private jets and
staying at the countries top hotels, Loli found herself
homeless and broke. After living in her broken down car for
months, Loli persevered as a DJ and finally made her name
known through her residency at the trendy club Avalon, and
her fan-base soon followed. Loli has also headlined the main
stage with Axwell, Erick Morillo, Josh Wink, DJ Sasha, Bad
Boy Bill, Sandra Collins and Trentemoller to name a few. |
