Biography |
Born and raised in Georgia, Danielle Panabaker has been
acting since the age of 10. Danielle landed her first gig in
a commercial for a Georgia-area State Park and followed that
up with a stint at a local community theater. Along with her
younger sister, Danielle began taking acting classes and
auditioning for all the local productions she could.
In 2002, Danielle decided the time was right to move to Los
Angeles and devote herself full time to making it as an
actress.
Her gamble paid off almost immediately. The up-and-coming
star managed to book appearances on several popular shows
within months of arriving in the city -- including Malcolm
in the Middle, The Bernie Mac Show and CSI: Crime Scene
Investigation.
Between 2003 and 2005, Danielle became a prominent fixture
in a series of made-for-television movies and even won a
Young Artist Award for her work in 2004’s Searching for
David’s Heart.
2005 was clearly Danielle’s breakout year, thanks to her
respective roles in a pair of hit comedies (Disney’s Sky
High and Paramount’s Yours, Mine and Ours).
In 2006, Danielle was cast in a TV movie (How My Private,
Personal Journal Became a Bestseller), a film (Home of the
Giants) and a television show (Shark, a CBS pilot
co-starring James Woods and Jeri Ryan). |
