Abby Elliott is an American actress and comedian who
currently is a featured player on Saturday Night Live. Three
generations of her family have been featured on the show.
Her father is actor and comedian Chris Elliott who was an
SNL cast member during the 1994-1995 season (season 20) and
her grandfather is Bob Elliott of the popular comedy duo Bob
& Ray who co-starred on the season four (1978-1979 season)
Christmas episode of SNL hosted by Elliot Gould (musical
guest: Peter Tosh). At the age of 21 (when she first
appeared on SNL), Elliott is the youngest female SNL
castmember to join the show, the 4th youngest castmember
overall, behind Anthony Michael Hall (who was 17 when he
became a castmember), Eddie Murphy (who was 19 when he
became a castmember), and Robert Downey, Jr (who was 20 when
he became a castmember), and the second castmember to be
born in the 1980s. Elliott was a guest voice on King of The
Hill and will have a role on creator Mike Judge's new
animated series, The Goode Family. |
